Spice base

•  1 tsp ground peppercorns

•  1 tsp ground cardamom seeds

•  1/4 tsp ground cloves

•  3 tsp onion powder

•  1 tsp garlic powder

•  2 tbs paprika

•  4 tsp ground cumin

•  4 tsp ground coriander seeds

•  4 tsp garam masala

•  2 tsp ground turmeric

•  1 tsp cayenne pepper

•  2 tsp salt

Marinade base

•  200g (7oz) Greek yogurt

•  30g (1oz) lemon juice

•  Mix all spice base ingredients together in a bowl

•  Store in spice container for later

•  Combine marinade base ingredients and 2tbs of spice

This can be used to marinate meat before cooking or as a sauce.  Allow it to marinate for a minimum of 10 minutes (longer is better and over night is even better)
