Stovetop or Thermo Machine



Step 1

•  1 large carrot

•  1 onion

•  2 sticks of celery

•  2 tsp minced garlic

•  2 tbs olive oil


Step 2

•  1 cup milk

•  1 tbs corn starch

•  2 chicken breasts

•  4 cups chicken stock (or powder equivalent)

•  1/2 cup quinoa uncooked

•  1/4 cup lemon juice

•  2 bay leaves

•  2 tsp lemon zest

•  1 tsp tarragon

•  1 tsp chives chopped

•   chilly flakes to taste (optional)




Stove Top Method

•  Peel carrot, top and tail and diced, dice onion and

   celery

•  Sauté Step 1 ingredients in pan for 10 minutes. While it     

   is cooking dice chicken and chop herbs

•  Combine cornstarch and milk and add with

   remaining ingredients

•  Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for

    20 minutes


Thermomix Method

•  Peel, top and tail carrots, peel and quarter onion, and  

   add with celery, garlic and olive oil to to bowl

•  Pulse/turbo for 5 seconds or until chopped

•  Cook 100C (212F) degrees, reverse for 10 minutes.  

   While it is cooking dice chicken and chop herbs

   remaining ingredients

•  Combine cornstarch and milk and add with

   remaining ingredients

•  Cook 100C (212F) degrees, reverse and soft speed for

   20 minutes
