This recipe is very adaptable.  I've replaced the carrot with kiwi fruit and its still tasted great.  Why not try it with what ever is in your fruit bowl.  


This recipe is egg free as the bananas do the same job as eggs (if you don't use bananas make sure you add two eggs)


You can leave out the nuts if you have nut allergies at your house or school


It makes a great moist snack or lunch box treat and no one will know how healthy it is


It also tastes great served with cream cheese spread on each slice

5 mins prep

50 mins ready to eat

•  2 peeled bananas

•  1 apple cored and quartered

•  1 carrot topped and tailed

•  100g (3.5oz) butter

•  1/4 cup honey

•  300g (10.5oz) self raising flour

•  1/4 cup milk

•  1/2 cup of walnuts or cashews


•  Pre heat oven 180C(356F) degrees

•  Place banana, apple and carrot in bowl pulse/turbo

   for 15 seconds or until chopped

•  Add remaining ingredients pulse/turbo 5 seconds

•  Pour into a greased a load tin

•  Cook for 40 - 45 minutes
