Busy Mixing Tips


Step 1

•  1 cup pitted dates

•  1 tbs honey

•  3 tbs butter

•  1 cup boiling water

•  2 apples cored and roughly cut


Step 2

•  1 3/4 cups self raising flour

•  1 tsp baking powder


Step 3

•  1/3 cup sweet dukkah or sesame seeds








5 minutes prep

55 minutes ready to eat

Blender or Thermo machine

•  Preheat oven to 180C  (355F)

•  Place all step 1 ingredients into a blender or

   thermo let sit for 5 minutes

•  Blend on speed 5 (medium) for 1 minute

•  Add step 2 ingredients and blend on speed 5

   (medium) for a further 30 seconds

•  Pour into a greased loaf tin

•  Pat dukkah or sesame seeds onto the top of the  

   loaf

•  Cook for 45- 50 minutes
