Chinese Satay Beef

Busy Mixing Tips

Step 1

•  2 tbs oil

•  500g beef (rump, sirloin, scotch etc) sliced


Step 2

•  1 onion cut into wedges

•  1 tsp minced garlic

•  1/2 green capsicum seeded and sliced

Step 3

•  2 tbs soy sauce

•  2 tbs white wine

•  1/2 cup peanut butter (sugar free)

•  1 tbs lemon juice

•  1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar

•  1 tsp minced chilly

•  1/2 cup water

•  Rice to serve (optional)

15 minutes prep

15 minutes ready to eat


Stove Top

•  Fry on high heat step 1 ingredients for 2-3 minutes

   and then remove from pan

•  Add step 2 ingredients to pan and fry for 4 minutes

   on high  heat

•  While vegies are frying combine step three

   ingredients in a bowl and then add to vegetables

   and cook for a further two minutes

•  Add back in beef and stir until beef is coated in


•  Serve on rice (if your are not watching your carbs)

Chinese Satay Beef

To save time I cook up rice in large batches and freeze in serving sizes.  Then you just defrost in the microwave as you need them

Keep a jar of minced garlic in the fridge.  It keeps for ever and saves you heaps of time
