Busy Mixing Tips

Chicken Mixture:

•  1 tbs oil

•  1 onion toped and tailed, halved and peeled

•  2 tbs crushed garlic

•  2 chicken breasts diced

•  1 tomato halved

•  1 tsp ground cumin

•  1 tsp dried oregano

•  1 tsp salt

•  1 can tomatoes

•  Chilli flakes to taste

•  1 tsp cayenne pepper

•  2 chicken breasts diced


Burritos:

• ½ cup tasty cheese grated

• 4 flour tortillas

• 1 avocado

• 1 can black beans

• ½ cup sour cream

• sliced jalapenos to taste (optional)

•  Add onion, garlic, and oil to thermo. Pulse 10 seconds

•  Cook speed 1, 100C, 5 minutes

•  Add tomato halves and chilly pulse 10 seconds

•  Add remaining ingredient for chicken mixture*

•  Cook speed 1, varoma/steam temperature

   (120C/248F), 30 minutes, MC off and steam basket on

   top to stop splatter

•  While chicken is cooking (in the last 5 minutes)

     •  Drain, rinse and heat beans in the microwave

     •  Mash avocado with a fork

     •  Heat tortillas in microwave

•  Assemble burritos by putting ¼ of the chicken

   mixture, and ¼ of the rest of the burritos ingredients

   onto four tortillas

•  Roll up and eat!

If using a Bellini use the blunt blades for the whole recipe


Keep grated cheese in your fridge.  It means you don't have to grate it when needed


Keep jars of crushed garlic and crushed ginger in the fridge
