Busy Mixing Tips

Step 1 - Spice Mix

•  5 tbs ground cinnamon

•  5 tbs ground turmeric

•  1.5 tbs ground cardamom

•  2 tsp ground ginger

•  2 tsp ground nutmeg

•  2 tsp ground black pepper

Step 2 - Milk

•  1 cup milk (cow or coconut for dairy free)

•  1 tsp rice malt syrup or honey (optional if

   you like it sweet)

•  Combine Step 1 ingredients and set aside in an

   airtight container.  This mix is enough to make about

   40 nightcaps

•  Pour milk into a mug and heat milk in a microwave for

   1 minute

•  Mix into the milk 2 tsp of spice mix and honey

5 minutes prep

5 minutes ready to eat


These spices not only taste great they are shown to induce and assist in sleep.  Have this tea 1/2 an hour before bedtime

For a single mixture of spice (in case you want to try it first)

                                        •  1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

                                        •  1/2 tsp ground turmeric

                                        •  2 pinches ground cardamom

                                        •  1 pinch ground ginger

                                        •  1 pinch ground nutmeg

                                        •  1 pinch ground black pepper
